OUR CAMPUS

Located in Derry, New Hampshire, Pinkerton Academy is the largest independent high school in the United States. Since the Old Academy Building opened in 1815, Pinkerton has continued to expand on its unique campus features. Currently owning over 170 acres of land, Pinkerton Academy contains twenty-three buildings located on its main campus. Sixteen of the buildings are used for daily academics, while the other seven are designated for administrative purposes. 95 acres of Pinkerton’s property are dedicated to athletic fields, while another 68 acres are located at Forsaith Forest, in Chester NH. Generously donated by Dr. Forsaith, this rare Atlantic White Cedar swamp is maintained by students for hands-on environmental and forestry studies, elevating Pinkerton Academy as the quintessential educational institute.
